#ASUU STRIKE:THE 'VERY SOON' SYNDROME#
Some weeks ago when I made a statement about the lingering strike in response to Mr.President statement stating that "the strike will end very soon", it looked as if I'm a critic,that lacks hope and confidence in the statement by saying "anything very soon without specification is deceptive" This word of assurance should be more than 2 weeks old now.
This same deceptive word is flying in the air in today's news again.So,I ask,how many soon should we expect before the strike will end?
Now,let's face the reality.We cannot perpectually delude ourselves by accepting all these deceptive words hook,line and sinker.If any government is serious about the students of her nation,there is no need keeping them on a hopeless hope which is built on vagueness.
The 'very soon syndrome' is just a perfect way of deceiving us to believe that they are serious about us but there action is very cynical in nature.
Let's keep the finger crossed and observe the "very soon syndrome" that will squirm us out of this impasse.
