If you'll not abush me on this matter,I think you can follow me as I shall go.There's a vestigal portion in the book of Ruth that no cognicance attention is given to it vis-à-vis contemporary sisters.And I am sure beyond measure that,if this understanding is well established,we'll sincerely have a crop of worthy sisters.Not to dilly dally,let's venture into the study.
Ruth 1 vs 20 says "And she said unto them,call me not Naomi,call me mara:for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me"
The verse before this quoted verse explains how the believers in Bethlem of Judah stood ramrod to welcome sister Naomi back home and was with expectation that the same Naomi they knew was the same returning with abundant blessings.They must be thinking that,sister Naomi spiritual level as now multiply and they were very in haste to welcome her and to feel another level of anointing and grace of God upon her..However,to their utmost surprise,they met a shocking word from sis.Naomi's mouth.She refuted and confessed-"call me not that name again because things have fallen apart"

HOW IT RELATES TO CONTEMPORARY SISTERS
Naomi was quiet aware that what really makes her a sister is no more there and she sincerely confessed without trying to camourflage.some are still call "sister" today, but what qualifies them for such a name is no longer there.This is a generation of believers when after a sister has fornicated,she'd delve into deception speaking in tongues at the place of worship or in the fellowship to cover up her guilt.And other believers will say "Hey! Sister 'kemi' is hot!,God is using her" meanwhile something is not well.You'll see many sisters who after indulging in an ungodly sexual practices,mount the pulpit and sing with pleasant voices like an angel,not knowing that there're fallen angels even in the church of God.with all these gymnastics,people will still see such a sister as one in which the power of God is residing in.
Naomi knows that her status was not the same again and she sincerely confessed.How many sister can confess their state to the fellow believers just as Naomi does?
Until every believer gain the understanding of revealing their true state of deeds to their fellow believers in faith and stop hiding under the umbrella of "sister" just as Naomi,that's when destructive deception going on in the church of God can stop.Not all that are called sisters are but how would we know when all behave like a saint even when things are going wrong.
Brethren,nothing pays in flagging the placard of sisterhood and brotherhood when what qualifies you for this is no more there.
