THE GOOD IN THE BAD OF THE PRODIGAL SON

Contrary to the generally believed and negative impression about the prodigal son,there's an aspect of the boy's life that we never give a keen attention to because of our human nature-always prioritising the bad behaviour than the good and pointing accusing finger.A handful number of us will not mind killing/disowned the guy if we were his father because of his extravagant and frivolous life styles.
However, the story of the boy as illustrated in the book of Luke 15 can be summarised in three ways which are:wrong decision,right decision and indecision.
Now,let's explore them one after the other because you'll learn from him a great lesson.The lesson is a dillution of my view and a book I came across some years ago written by David.O.Abioye.Let's go on the study.

WRONG DECISION.
'The prodigal son decided to meet his father and ask for his portion of inheritance.He asked and got his desire,because he had decided for it.Even though he made a wrong decision that took him out of his father's house and into a strange land where he was reduced from riches to rags,the prodigal son was all the same a decision-maker.He suffered hunger,nakedness and lack;the consequences of his wrong decision,yet he refused to be demoralized'

RIGHT DECISION
'To prove that the decision-makers are creative thinkers,this young man refused to be hedged in by defeat.In the midst of his calamities,he does something.And what's that? His mind got stirred up and he made another decision.He decided to rise up and go to his father.And the moment he took that step,a spiritual monitoring force went into operation to stir up his father as he also stepped out,and they met on the way'.WAO! This time he made a right decision that restored him to glory.A man who makes a wrong decision today is most likely to make a right one tomorrow.

INDECISION
'On the other hand,the elder brother of the prodigal son was a man of indecision.He was timid and too scared to even think of what he wanted.He saw their father as a rich oppressor,so he did not reason that as a son he deserved more than what the slaves and servants were getting.He remained at a mediocre equilibrium between the time that his decision-making younger brother went on his adventure and when he returned.
The fatted call which was never slaughtered for the brother was slaughtered for this boy and I doubt if he had been given even the least of the calf to enjoy it solely.He complained of his father accepting his brother back to the house.He muttered how his brother has squandered his own portion of the inheritance,even though this was not the reason he was denied his.He has not been given a kid in his life time to celebrate with his friends.At the end he remained indecisioned.

Lesson To Learn
The prodigal son was ready to risk failure to gain more experience, meanwhile the brother was not ready to face the new world with its challenges.
Though he made a wrong decision initially,at the end of the day he did not lose anything,rather he gained experience and restoration.When he realised that his first decision had brough him into trouble,he started the process all over again.He sat down to think,came up with another decision and then took steps that brough him into limelight.
Indecision is a state of stagnation.That's why wrong decision is better than indecision.Never be scared of making a wrong decision.Atleast,it gives you the opportunities to be corrected and directed in the right way.
Finally,it's better to fail while trying to succeed than to succeed while trying failure.
Don't be afraid of making a new attempt! Take the bull by the horn to face indecision.
A wrong decision will ultimatelty leads to a right one while indecision is a great bane to success in life

ANOTHER DEGREE OF MADNESS

I'm always out of my normal self anytime I want to discuss politics.The best choice of words I don't have because of my inability to curtail the intensity of my furiosity and anger.It's for this reason I press the pedal so soft in discussing politics because I don't want to be rude by spitting out my concentrated venoms.
However,as the day goes by,I see more of insult in Nigeria politics than the sense it ought to display.The masses are left to scavenging in the desert and living in the fool's paradise.They make truths appear like lies and vice-versa in other to perpetrate their sinister plans.what a villian people? Playing politics of dissimulation that keeps the nation on planet-earth on planet-mercury.
There's no other degree of madness other than a live show of corruption that has taken our nation out of blue.The scandalous and avaricious attitude by the minister of aviations,Mrs.stella Oduah has been making the front page of our daily newspapers for some weeks now and travelling at a speed of light without an end in sight.Different story as regard the matter greets us on a daily basis that you begin to wonder if any serious attempt to bring her to book is feasible just as the news is rolling away in the same way that of Farouk Lawan and Femi Otedola does.
It's now crystal clear that,our nation is a land of injustice,the land where corruption is travelling fast without any attempt to halt it.
The excuse of corruption is as old as rock,will not help us have a nation that's immune to this spectacle of absurdity.If time is not taken to break down the rock of corruption that is as old as age,no meaningful achievement would be recorded and this rock will continue to grow in leaps and bound.The government should not try holding the truth in unrighteousness by glorifying madness.
This gross glorification of madness must come to a stop if our nation will grow even, among the youths of this nation.Flagging of ethnicity card should not be the wise opinion by now but all hands must be on deck to collectively fight those receding the progress of the country irrespective of our differences.Those protesting in support of the woman need a brain surgical operation before it's too late.When the youths of this country cannot take a firm and solid decision on those manipulating them for their own personal gain,we should know that the Lucifer has descended at last and the madness is now beyond the boiling point.
Obviously,there is a long way to go in reducing this ever-rising degree of madness that has been parading itself over a long period of time and it's now.
Enough of covering up corrupt people for the good of this nation.
We cannot continue like this,and expect miracle from heaven to sanitize our nation.No amount of prayer on mount olives in Jerusalem will squirm us out of this if a right decision in a right direction is not taken.
Prayer without action is nothing but a waste of time.This is the prime time to match prayer with action and take a lion step to end this gross glorification of madness of the highest order.

IF JESUS IS ON TWITTER

It is obvious that our current world is fast moving at the speed of light when it comes to technological advancement.Advancement in technology,newness in discoveries and progress have brought a total change to the modus operandi of our day-to-day activitie that people of then may see it as a magic.Informatn Technology is an impetus ingredient that drives computing to achieve our daily resources in all facets of human endeavours.
As a result of this development, we have numerous social media that brings to our door step both recent and past informatns and an avenue to contact people both far and near.Out of many is TWITTER.
Twitter is a common social network where big,middle and small men give their ideas and views about matters.It's either somebody is following you or u are following some one(follower)
Just as I picked my phone to follow some prominent people in the country,especially columnists or publishers,mainly i wanted to follow Dele Momodu cuz he has always catch my interest and I followed him and many other.
As I was following people,my spirit raised a question within me that "IF JESUS IS ON TWITTER,WILL YOU FOLLOW HIM?" To me the answer is very simple and it's YES and nothing else.My mind went straight to the time Jesus commanded Peter,James and John to followed him and they does without arguement.So,if Jesus is on twitter,I would follow that I may become a "fishers of Men" just as in the case of the apostles.
But quickly,He opened my eyes to John 3 vs 19 wc says "And this is the condemnation,that light(JESUS) is come into the world,and men loved darkness rather than light,because their deeds were evil"
It then dawned on me that,for the fact Jesus is on twitter-many will still not follow(even the so-called christians) Him cuz He will only on a daily basis tweet what will revealed their secret just as "John 3 vs 20 "says-"For every one that doeth evil hateth the light,neither cometh to the light,lest his deeds should be reproved" I then realised that people will prefer obama, wiskid,D'banj etc to Don Moen,M.smith,P.paul etc not to talk about JESUS
The question he asked me to ask you is that "WILL YOU FOLLOW ME WHEN AM ON TWITTER? "

THE BATTLE OF MY LIFE

If there is any battle to fight at any stage of my life,it's now.It's not a physical combat neither is it wresting,visible weapons are not involved and chariots are not.It's not a battle against any foe neither is it against villians that wants to perpetrate their sinister plans in order to logjams my way.No!
So,what's the battle then? Because I want you've a full comprehension of this war am waging,will like you follow me through the voyage of knowledge because I'm pretty sure that either un/knowingly you're passing through this intricate part of life.For the fact that,you're my colleague in this war,that's why am happy to air it out eventhough you may not want to for reasons best known to you.
Now let's expose it.
Recently,I've come to see life from another angle of elevation which at a time denied me of sleeping when I woke up in the middle of the night.I've seen gold and riches,gadgets and spiffy materials,necessities of life and the likes.
Anything bad in seeing them? I don't think so.Then why'd they be my problem?
Let me be straight forward here.
This war am fighting is nothing more than 'intimidation' It's another thing to see an object of importance,it's another thing to be intimidated either by yourself or who owns the material.Intimidation comes when you think you should change level when your chap/friends are changing it.It comes when you think that you're in need of certain things to beautify yourself.It comes when others are flagging their glamorous gadgets while you have your own decaying gadget buried in your pocket.It comes when you're of the opinion of becoming relevant.This intimidation can be rooted on countless reasons like the sand of the sea.
Not to keep you in the darkness,I'll try to be practical as a person even when you'll mock me.
The minutes of sleeplessness I had was because of my thirst to get myself acquinted with the latest technological development because of my current activities on the social network and it cannot be achieved by strokes of magic.This's 21st century,where the success of today is the failure of tomorrow.The jet age!
Just as I was thinking about this,I had in my spirit saying 'when you begin to look at what you don't have you start moving away from God because He's everything you need eventhough they may be trapped in an unseen' Hearing this,I quench the fiery darts of the devil with my shield of faith(Eph 6:16).Then,the eyes of my understanding is enlightened and I slept off.
However,the lesson does not stop there,one thing re-echo in my auditory nerve which I'll share you with.

The Sprint Race And a Marathon Race.
To understand this better,both of them are running a race but the distance travelling is different.A Sprint is defined as 'Run at full speed over a short distance' meaning that this race is very short and the runner would easily get to the finishing line by speeding up but a marathon runner cannot do that because is journey is still very far and so s/he can only be moving at a steady and slow rate so has not to get tired easily.Now,when the sprint runner gets to the finishing line and receive the price of emerging,the marathon runner may feel like stopping or being enticed with the gift however,s/he continues because their race and destination is different.His veins steam courage and endure the race.When s/he gets to the finishing line,do you know what'll happen?
The sprint runner will later become a spectator watching him running and receiving his/her price(s). Do you think there gift will be the same? Never!
And that's just how life is.Some of your friends using the latest have reached the end of their sprint race and you should not be intimidated because you're on marathon.Don't be discouraged because the will ultimately stand at their finishing line to applaud and celebrate you.Just don't give up.
This is the lesson have learnt,not to compare myself with others because we're running different race with different destination.
Finally on this note,I've foud this bible passages helpful on the battle field 'Be anxious for nothing,but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God-Phil 4:6' ,Matt 6:25-'....take no thought for your life..... And Heb 13:5 also help in quenching the fiery darts of the devil.Just as my school anthem lyric reads 'Intimidation we condole not'
Don't be intimidated,you're travelling on a different journey! Don't condole it.

BIG BOYS AND GIRLS IN THE CHURCH

I'll not mind if you'll insult me on this matter,but I'd love that you read through before you nail me to the cross on this subject of discussion .Immediately you see this topic,it postulates something which you're not void of and I'm sure you belong to the league of either 'BIG BOYS/GIRLS' or have been addressed with this title before in which you're very happy when you're called.I'll not waste time defining who a 'Big Boy/Girl is' So,let me go straight to the point.
Unless this present age of ours have a change of orientation on what they tag as big boys/girls,they'd continuously make themselves the most celebrated nincompoop here on earth and in heaven.The 'world' definition given to this may be or is highly deceptive and that is why I think there is a need to throw more light on this word.Ordinarily,the world definition of a big boy/girl is centered on the world standard of judging an outward appearance and accruing materials that're looking spiffy together with the using of the latest and conforming to ungodly characters.
This mentality has speedily runs through our youths that the church of God is not excluded to the extent that if you do not possess a little of what makes such a cacaus,you'll roast in hell fire.Dressing descently is a sin by their own sense of judgement.If a lady never wear a dress revealing her breast and accentuating the size of her buttock with lip painted with paints in today's church,she is not a big girl but a Scripture Union (SU) or Holy Mary.Being descent is not appreciated because to them,excessiveness in dressing and wayward life styles is the best way of life.
However,to have a change of knowledge about this topic,I'll be happy to give you few of what it calls to be a 'BIG BOY/GIRL' in a jiffy.So,who're they?

They're those set of people that're having a focus,determination and have a realistic dream.They're not those that trades their value for worldly pleasures but those that're ready to change and turn the world upside down.They're not empty barrels but people with cerebral grandstanding to jive in the ocean of knowledge and wisdom.They search the word of God and who for the sake of what lies ahead of them,shun the worldly present that they may sit with the nobles and control the affair of the state.They're never materialistic,they dress the inward and not the outward because outward appearance will not take a man far in life but the inner.They think big and never settle for the less because they're 'BIG', they turn down being a local champion,always striving to better their tommorow by not being satisfied with their present status quo.Their mind is full of ideas which at the end makes them a celebrated man or woman.
Friends,they're inexhaustible but most importantly,they set their gaze on the home above i.e Heaven.
Only the Big Boys and Girls that search the scriptures are known by God and they're stand a great chance of celebrating big with the Father in heaven.
On this note,it'd wise enough to say that 'they think Big and eye Big position to show forth the glory of a 'BIG GOD'.Now,the question is:which of this side of Bigmanism/Bigwomanism do you belong to ?
If you don't have this ones in your church,you're not yet a BIG CHURCH

EVEN IN THE HELL FIRE,ALL IS WELL

The best moment but tough aspect of my Life.

In the period of our trials and test of faith,we look so dejected,to pray is a problem,to read the bible becomes a great task.Everything works in a contrary manner.
This is the time when godly friends show up,give you hope and throw words of encouragement to you which will gently bring back your dying faith.
When the storms of life appears,the only thing you can remember is the name "JESUS" because you don't have the full length of time to pray.
As I experienced my own side of the event or the other side of the event,I was left with no other option than to allow tears to roll out of my eyes not minding the fact that I am a man-atleast a man will always want to be a man.It was then I believed that it is a philosophical truism that"He who as not encountered problem claims to be a man"

But something drops into my mind which I have read of probably last year.It was the book of Bishop Oyedepo David-The man said "God is not interested in your weeping or crying,He only need your faith" Heee! I hold back up the tear and put up my faith once again,although,not really the one I do have before.All the literatures I came across during this challenging period of time were the one that continuously tells me that "God is able".
Then it looks as if I don't know any bible verses again,those ones I know looked as if I have exhausted them all,some may not believe my account because to them "everything is well even in hell fire" since it is a common song in the mouth of all believers.
What am I saying?
"That Jesus is in your boat does not means that storms will not come,only that you will not sink" as mentioned by Pst.E.A Adeboye.
I know that,things will not be alright all the time but God will always be there at the right time.Life will not be running smoothly all the time but God will surely clear the way all the time He wishes.
Brethren, physically,life is not a bed of roses but spiritually it's always a bed of roses.

Therefore,"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.." Hebrew 12 vs 2
James 1 vs 3 "knowing this,that the trying of your faith worketh patience"
vs 4 "But let patience have her perfect work,that ye may be perfect and entire,wanting nothing"
God is not tired of you.
Call upon Him and He will see you through IJN.

IS THIS CHRISTIANITY?

A moment of reasoning!

On several occasions i ask myself this very question.As if this is how Jesus gave it to us.It baffles me seeing indescent dressings growing at a geometric rate in the church of God today,the descency in the church of God have been over nigh changed to a high level of indescency.Everybody is now living a free life.
If you look at what the world regards as fashion today,particularly in the western developed world in countries with all wealth and level of comfort,a greater percentage of such fashion styles tend towards nakedness and this has eaten deep into d fabric of the church of God.If the lady's breast are not exposed,that dressing is regarded as old fashioned.If the skirt is not too short or slit in such a way as to reveal their underwear,it is not fashion and if the man of God is not careful,he may fall.So much havoc has been done to the church of God in the name of fashion.Instead of the world to look to the church for healthy,sane dressing,it is the church that is looking at the world for peace.Copying the dress styles of the world that promotes promiscuity and nakedness is worldliness.1john 2 : 15-17 says believers in christ must not love the world.Whatever you do in terms of dressing should not defeat the purpose for which God created it in the first 
place,which is to properly cover nakedness (Gen 3 :21)
To you that call yourselves "big boy" and you made that to be known to God in the church by sagging ,showing us your underwears,of what sense is this? If you want to be a big boy,you shouldn't be a big boy for the world but rather a big boy for God because a big boy in the Lord searches the scripture.If you think you are mad,you shouldn't see God as the same.
Therefore,let your dressing be moderate and covering your nakedness.Look descent and presentable;glorify God in your dressing.
If you see nothing wrong with transparent or perforated clothes,or clothes which reveal your nakedness or clearly shows your laps and accentuate or emphasize the size of your buttocks,you are being carnal.In those days,believer were very mindful of their dressings so that they did not cause their brothers to stumble.But today,provocative dressing is all over the church of God.
Is this christianity?
There are some churches you wil go to and wil be wondering whether you are in a brothel.
Is this the church of God?
Brethren,examine your wardrobe and fish out any dress that violates the code of decency.Do not give such out but destroy them.

THE CONVERSATION BETWEEN JESUS AND SATAN:HOW IT CONCERNS YOU

Not quiet long after the completion of the 40 days fasting and prayer that the devil came around to put him to test in the book of "Luke 4 vs 4-12"
Actually,there are two verses that caught my attention in the passage.In verse 6 he says "..the glory of the kingdom of the world is DELIVERED unto me;and to whomsoever I will I give it.
Vs 7-"If thou therefore wilt worship me,all shall be thine"
The word "DELIVERED" is a past tense meaning that somebody gave it to him.Then who gave it to him? The answer is God but when God was doing so Jesus knew to it and was not left out of the program involving the handing over of the world to him.Devil only think that he can enticed Jesus(the giver) with what he has given him.But Jesus would not be deceived because He knew the content of what the devil was introducing to him meanwhile he delivered it to him.
The point here is that devil presents our inheritance to us prematurely so that we can see them readily ripe to get and we die prematurely with it due to our lack of knowledge about our place in God.
Some are running after earthly pleasures that will not last,not knowing that all they can see is a flash that will end up in ashes.
Jesus knew that the devil was only flashing him with those earthly things and would not mistaken Himself(light) to a mere flash.
Don't be deceived,the devil has nothing good to offer!
The second instance was in vs 9,when he set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said "If thou be theson of God,cast thyself down from hence"
In the next two verses "vs 10 and 11" the devil quoted "psalm 91 vs 11-12" to back up his arguement.What a challenge?
If the devil will not be void of scriptural verses to back up his arguement,why must you?.The issue here is that many believers are "resting while the devil is reading so as to be able to roar to them since they lack the word" How much of God's word do you have in you in order to resist the devil?
Jesus hearing this knows that,to fight he needs the word and He replied in vs 13 by saying "FOR IT'S WRITTEN,THOU SHALT NOT TEMPT THE LORD YOUR GOD"
Hearing this,the bible recorded that the devil departed from Him for that season.
#You become a LORD FOR THE DEVIL WHEN YOU HAVE THE WORD IN YOU#
The only thing to resist the devil is the WORD-Resist the devil and he shall flee.
Spend quality time in studying of the word of God and you will escape the trap of the devil.

NOT TOO FAR FROM YOUR HOUSE

There's something not too far from your house,but you may not know and if you know,you've not read a great meaning to the place because of your familiarity with it.Some minutes ago,I was walking in the cementary and the place was so silent that I was somehow scared and start to quote bible verses because of fear.
However,while going,something rang in my ear that,in this silent place were "books that were never written" "songs that were never sung","churches that were never built","great men/women that never rise to greatness","dreams that never materialised","nations that were never built","Glory that never shine","Heroes that were never celebrated" In a nutshell,purpose that were never fulfilled!
I now see that the cementary is the most richest place where glories are buried.The place swallows up the giant of generations and the world never pay homage to them.
These ones that were unable to fulfil purpose do not go empty i.e they never discharged all that God has embedded in them because of one reason or the other.
But the question is,are you prepare to go empty?
If you don't go empty,you've jeopardised the purpose of your existence and may join the league of books that were never written and dreams that never materialised.
It's not far from your house but you must not be buried with those purposes because it's parlous.
Go empty but don't go empty handed.

YOU MUST WALK ON THE WATER

I Know you'll sound like "Am I Jesus that I'd walk on the water?" or "Am I Peter that was ordered by Jesus to come walk on water?" Some will argue that "the levels of their anointing cannot make water to solidify so as to walk on it" .You're absolutely right! And I'll not dare you to walk on water if you're not led.
Better still,there's a lesson beyond the prism of walking on the water in an actual sense which we may not take a keen attention to.Jesus walking on water in Matt 14:25 is an allegory(representation) to us as a christian.
Ordinary,if a man is walking on the water,it's not expected that he should float instead he should get drown at a certain point in the water but for Jesus,it wasn't like that and reasons for that is crystal clear.He's having power over everything beneath the water,how much more the surface of it?
Don't let me bore you with many biblical view about this.So,let's go on into the main lesson that God want us to know.
If you'll agree with me,it's certain that the main motive of water is to sink a man.Isn't it?
The water then could be likened to the challenges of life.Mainly,the challenges of life is to sink a man down,to bring him/her to his/her kneels so as not to get to the destination.In the face of the challenges of Life,Jesus expects that we must float on the waters of life that attendeth our ways like river on a daily basis.Failure to walk on them,the destination is not certain neither can it be achieved by strokes of magic.If Jesus should walk on water,then you must!
However,we must come to this knowledge that,Jesus walking on water wasn't in the absense of floater.The One and only factor that makes him have a free walk was His FAITH and that's the floater! Peter only saw Jesus walking without having a full comprehension of what enhances his bouyancy.Well,being the speaker of the disciples,he was ready to enter into the problem.He beckoned on Jesus and He ordered him to come.Peter was having a smooth journey from the boat towards Jesus but all of a sudden he was dropping down.That's the challenges of life I'm talking about! But then,when he could not help,he sorts for help from Jesus and he was rescued.
But,this is the point:Peter was walking with a degree of faith that cannot sustain him and he knew not,it was until a terrific wind boistered on him that he knew that he's not measuring to the standard.The same way the wind revealed the weaknesses of Peter,so it is with us.The challenges of life are ready to expose us to the world and make a shame of us.Don't you think that,as at the hour of Peter sinking,some of the disciples may be laughing saying 'ko tan oo,sebi a so fun o pe ko malo" and other forms of insult.
Any attempt to succeed in life would not be in the absence of failure but how you handle the failure determines whether you'll excel.
I know you're sinking already,issues of life have rendered you helpless,just behave like peter who in the midst of problem cried "LORD SAVE ME" Cry to Him!
Jesus expect that you've a growing faith that will confront a growing storm and not a little faith that'll be overpowered.
To complete this lesson,in vs 32 the bible says '..when they come into the ship,the wind ceased' This shows that after you've dared the challenges of life,you'll enter your rest at last but if you give up at the middle of those challenges,you'll not enter your rest.
That's why you must walk on the water.

Some weeks ago when I made a statement about the lingering strike in response to Mr.President statement stating that "the strike will end very soon", it looked as if I'm a critic,that lacks hope and confidence in the statement by saying "anything very soon without specification is deceptive" This word of assurance should be more than 2 weeks old now.
This same deceptive word is flying in the air in today's news again.So,I ask,how many soon should we expect before the strike will end?
Now,let's face the reality.We cannot perpectually delude ourselves by accepting all these deceptive words hook,line and sinker.If any government is serious about the students of her nation,there is no need keeping them on a hopeless hope which is built on vagueness.
The 'very soon syndrome' is just a perfect way of deceiving us to believe that they are serious about us but there action is very cynical in nature.
Let's keep the finger crossed and observe the "very soon syndrome" that will squirm us out of this impasse.

The brain disturbance crossing the line of my reasonable thinking for some days has exceeded the boiling point,just as I imagine where the future of this generation which is fast deteriorating and going down the drain will end.This path of ignorance is growing in leaps and bound on a daily basis that I get myself dazed of what the future postulates/holds for us.Now,I'm seeing happenings that makes me shake my head in utmost regret because the devil is wasting destinies and many are alreay languishing in hell of what their future holds for them by giving themselves to worldly pleasures,burying the future on the altar of today.Frivolous life styles which is the bane and logjams to a promising future is now the order of the day.Any attempt to rescue this dying souls is like writing on water.And I ask,what other strategies are certain to help out? I know you'll say prayer.That's right and it has been applied but all in futility.Well,am not saying prayer is impotent in changing an uncertain future into a potent one.
In all these,I've always put the blame on myself i.e seeing myself responsible for other peoples misdeeds and failures.But why must I keep myself so long in this cage of sorrow? That's just the question I repeatedly ask myself.well,to do this is not really too bad because Jesus wept and was so sorry for the people of Jerusalem for the fact that they never see what awaites them in the future.After this,He departed from them.
Having this knowledge,I've come to the limelight of the fact that "I cannot continue to see myself responsible for others failure" Doing this is like loading myself with unnecessary burdens.Everybody is responsible for his/her failure.
However,I'll try my best to redefine their future for them and this is my earnest prayer but will never see myself accountable for others mess.
Yet,there must be a fight to rescue this generation from all these kind of ways of life and God will help you and I.

Holding my pen in abeyance for two days without having my opinion shared is nothing but walking lonely in the wilderness of thoughts,just as my ideas are banging on my head and I couldn't curtail it any longer.During this two days,I imagined the number of posts that I'd have released because I was so full beyond control to share some pertinent issues in christendom,but being that I've declared my intention to be absent from the register of facebook,I could not help and that's why those things were overflowing and wasting away.Since communication is only effective when you've people to discuss with.Having this knowledge,I discovered that I can't eschew writing and if I do,I'll be the most celebrated Nincompoop!
Well,some may assume that I'm a facebook addict that cannot do without it by the virtures of the status I updated declaring my intention to stay off writing.But how'd I defend this,seeing me this morning sharing this? Let me agree with you that you're right because am praying to God to help me avoid arg***** but for your information,I deserted facebook in my first year in school and have a numb feeling for it before I came back because "now is the appointed time to write"
However,what thrown me into silence for hours should not borther you and I will not dilly dally discussing that.I guess you're avidly ready to hear.No network coverage! Gbagaun.
That aside,sincerely I want to tell you that I can't hide away from those that texted,commented and called me on why such a post is coming from me.I'm sure that you all loved me.Your words get me back to my position,it makes my veins to steam courage and to know that there's a long way for me to go.

The question of whether to bleach or not vis-à-vis christian faith is a very sensitive issue which has generated alot of controversy in the christian cycle.Any attempt to discourage this mentality of bleaching always raise a question of the kind "where've you seen it in the Bible that bleaching is a sin? Many will speak you to face that,it's poverty that makes you question the act i.e lack of money to buy either bleaching cream or soap.Well,I want to believe that as a christian,it's high time we stop minoring on the major instead,we should be majoring on the major so that we'll be realistic in our sense of thoughts and value ourselves as a perfect being created by God.
From the beginning of the world when God created everything,it was stated that they are all good but I have come to the point of asking myself whether we've a full comprehension of this word? The statement implies that,God is saying:"with my wisdom have I created all and I created them in the way they should be,there is nothing better than this and I've committed no mistake in the course of this creation..." but it's a pity that in our age,we are so myopic in our reasoning to tell God how poor he was in the school of creation,questioning Him why he created you to be black.This colour does not befit me and the likes.We've rendered his handiwork useless by changing what he described as "GOOD!".It'll not be an exaggeration to say that the human race have always been showing some level of dissatisfaction about their skin colour in which those of us that knows what it takes God to create fall a victim as well.
Anytime a "christian" try to manipuate his/her skin all in the name of fashion and looking spiffy,s/he is invariably questioning the knowledge of God!
Apostle Paul in Roman 9:20 says that "Nay but,O man,who hath thou that repliest God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it that,why has thou made me so? Are we not replying God? questioning his authority over your body complexion. If God created you to be black,he knows that that is the best complexion to the glory of His name.And if somebody was created as white,it's not a mistake but a perfect plan of God.So,why trying to change the order of creation?
Don't you know that the potter has power over the clay(Rom 9:21) ? If it pleases him,he can mould u the way it pleases him and that's why you're not responsible for your skin colour.God knows to it.
We've examples of people who gets their skin colour damaged in this act of bleaching,jeopardising God's work which claim their lifes at the end.That should tell you that any man that does not retain God in his/her knowledge would be delivered into his /her lustful heart desires whose end is destruction.You're a perfect creation of God and you should be proud of your skin colour,don't feel inferior even when you are darker more than charcoal,you never created yourself,you're a product of God's work.Having this in mind,you will glorify God in your life because you're maintaining your God given skin colour.
Brethren,what shall it profit a man that bleach on earth and still be re-bleached in Hell fire.

If I've not come across these three dunce fellow in the bible,I'd not have believe the account that some people passionately hate progress and if they've limited their unprogressive attitudes to themselves,it'd have been a nice idea without being furious but when they are of the high mind of cutting the line of progress of others,that's when their attitudes become barbaric.
Nehemiah was ready to build but these 3 guys (samballat,Tobiah and Geshem) were ready to pull it down because they're enemies of progress.They libel,slander and rebel against this man,yet he was never discouraged because of his progressive attitude.
Distractions and various forms of threat was thrown to him but Nehemiah doesn't shiver,all he did was keeping focus right.
Then,of what importance is this to us? You'll notice that,Samballat,Tobiah and Geshem were rest assured that all that's needed to stop Nehemiah's project was to distract him from doing good,but Nehemiah was with the understanding that they were not fighting against him but against God and so,he reported them to God instead of fighting them.
This shows that when your enemies rise against you,all that's required of you is to report to God,any attempt to fight the battle yourself would definitely amount to failure and you may likely become a prey for your predators.Your enemies know that the only way to win the battle over you is to get your attention distracted.Don't be discouraged when doing good.For they that protested against Nehemiah met their waterloo and was put to shame and that is the same way your foes will be if you disregard or give no attention them.

This world is not a war-free-zone and that's why you must be very close to God to report your case and stop fighting it on your own.
Note:Anytime you disregard those opposing you,you catalyse their anger.
For God says that "The battle belongs to me....."

We don't have to be a rocket scientist before we know that the frigidity of our leaders toward the ongoing strike is worth worrying about ,just as we are treading the way of Ghana whose strike lasted for 2 years in the history of the country.I'm sure you'll argue that,the strike is not yet a year,but have you forgotten that a journey 100km starts with a step? Just like a dream,we're in the fourth month of the strike which could be equated to a semester.There is nothing better to say if not to ascert that,our leaders have a numb feeling for education and this's evident when Mr.president was claimed during Presidential Media chat that "Ghana went on strike for 2 years and nothing happened" so,by implication,if we spend even more than 2years at home,heaven will not fall.I've repeatedly ask myself if these people even have the mind of shifting the table not to talk of ground because no reasonable approach is given to this matter.
Obviously,over-zealousness for political ambitions have choke them up to the extent that they don't mind burying the education sector alive and in turn make the youths of the nation of no value to themselves and to the society at large.In an attempt to politically play upon our intelligence,Oga Jonah said that "the strike would be called off soon" but who don't know that anything "soon" without "specification" is deceptive. For how long should we rely on "soon" when another month is winding up?
Out of being wise,the FG does not know that they are only adding petrol to the inferno when they initiated "No work, No pay" thinking that the body would recede from the strike not knowing that they are resolute about their decision to fight the battle to the last end and this postulates alot of theory of how long the strike "may" be.For now,the body has cut off any kind of negotiation with the government but open to anybody interested in discussing the issue out
Can't you see that everything is topsy-turvy now?
For the fact that the government have remained indifference on this matter,I'm of the fear that if timely decisions are not taken,devil will certainly abide with us and several cases of crime rate will be on increase,tumult everywhere and even our nation would be sitting on a keg of gun powder.
As we tread the path of Ghana ,evil awaites the nation and vulnerability to unfortunate occurences stand sure.However,if keen attention is given to it,we would definitely wriggle out of this educational hell,but if not,the PATH OF GHANA IS INENVITABLE!

Have you ever imagine yourself tightly fixed on a queue and being tossed to and fro like a pendulum bob? In this struggle,somebody stepped on you,looked back and face the front again without saying a word.I know tha your expectation would be that the person should say "sorry" Then you say to that person,don't you see that you stepped on me? And s/he replied saying,"not my fault,atleast you could see people pushing me to the front and back" You feel aggressive and keep mute.

Well,ordinarily,it's in our attitude as a human being to be driven with no sense of remorsefulness about our deeds because of our egocentric attitudinal behaviours.We shift blames,not willing to accept our fault.But why is it always difficult for us as a person to feel sorry,even when we're guilty? Let me say that the word "sorry" in a deeper sense of it is more than how we think it and that's why it has always been difficult to feel sorry our attitudes.
Then,what does it means to be "sorry" Sorry is when you admit that you're wrong and that such will never happen again.As simple as the word is,it's very weighty and that is why every one of us turn down the chances of feeling sorry for our attitudes.The hardest part of "sorry" is when you're compelled to feel sorry for what you've not done.Have you ever experienced that?
It'll be very encouraging if we admit once and for all that we're wrong than to give unwelcome excuses of our wrong doing.If we've this understanding,a brother will not find it difficult to admit his fault towards his younger brother likewise the sister.The husband will not be driven by the "head mentality" if the knowledge of fault admittance is gained.Relationships will not shipwreck,if the two partners understand the power of "sorry" Family will be happy if the parents could say sorry to their children not minding their position.
The world would have been a better place to live if we are not always shifting blames.For it'll be a great thing to have this at the back of our mind.For saying it,it neither decrease nor increase us instead it fastings our relationships.
Don't always find a way of cutting corners when you're at fault,learn to say "sorry"
By saying this,you'll feel unaccussed and comfortable in your spirit and appreciate the worth of each other.
Importantly,you may not be guilty but if for the sake of peace you try and take the burden on yourself to feel sorry.I know it's difficult,but you can always do it.You can!
I know it's not your fault,but you can always see it to be yours for peace and for the interest of building a strong relationship with people.

If there is any war that the present day churches must fight against,it's nothing but a gross mentality of interdenominationalism.And as controversial as this issue appears,we've given less attention to it and that is why it has been generating an internal heat in the christian cycle.We cannot continue to delude ourselves,claiming all is well while sentimentalism is heating us up gradually.
You an I mustn't be living in the fool's paradise before we get to know that this issue am discussing has taken over the whole atmosphere of each denomination.A guy from redeem will claim that his own church is superior,ridiculing a guy from Baptist.Another may say,Bishop Oyedepo performs more miracle than your pastors in CAC,Pastor Adeboye is better than all the pastors and the likes.And I wonder if this sense of church justification will ever take a man to heaven and it appears to me as if we never have an understanding of what a church is.In the days of the apostles,nothing like interdenomination comparision,they all believed that they're of one body and do all things in common without disparities.Why are we so addicted to doctrines at the expense of what a true church of God should be.I'm of the opinion that irrespective of doctrines,we must still see ourselvers as one,neglecting our doctrinal differences and make Jesus the centre of focus.
This same sense of "I am of this and that" as so much eaten us up that various denominations encourage or hold a seminar to specially discourage their members marrying a non-member of their denomination or simply put as another person from different denomination.Reason(s) for this is not far fetched and I believe you know why.For how long are we to continue creating a kind of demarcation amidst ourselves? Some will even say that "I'll rather prefer not to go to church than to go to a church different from mine" as if the name of the church is what will take him/her to heaven.But then,who are we serving? Are we serving man or God? Church or christ? Is our denomination a ticket to heaven? Does our doctrines have anything to do with the manual of life given to us(Bible)? Must we always exalt our doctrine more than the word of God? This and many others we get to know before we will be able to put off this attitude.
Personally,I don't see anything bad in worshipping in another denomination different from mine provided same Jesus is the basis of operation.I once worshipped in a different denominatn and was puntual without being sentimental.In most cases,I've to stood my ground to correct this erroneous believe when my colleagues put the matter of my church pass your church and my pastor pass your church.
At this point,I will like to take you back to the word of God to see how sensitive this matter is.Bro.Paul in the book of corinthians was addressing the church in corinth when he discovered that sentiment and comparison of men of God is now the order of the day and so as to correct them,he sent them a letter in 1corin 1 vs 11,12,13 "......that there is contentions among you"
"Now this I say,that every one of you saith,I am of Paul;and I of Apollos; and I of cephas;and I of christ."
"Is christ divided? Was paul crucified for you? Or were ye baptized in the name of paul?
Obviously,you will see that these are questions we need ask ourselves as a church of today..
"Is christ divided? Was Adeboye crucified for you? Or were ye baptized in the name of Oyedepo ?

Let's put doctrinal differences apart and make Jesus the centre of focus.

The human brain is subjected to forgetfulness but I don't want to be a victim of this at this crucial moment that's why I want to tell you quickly before it'll later escape my mind because many issues are running through my God-given mind.So,lest I forget.Do you know that:that's not where you should stop? Do you know that God has deposited a potential that needs activation in you? Do you know that you are different from what people think about you? Do you know that you're going places? Do you know that you've a future to protect? Well,all about you are uncountable and I love that.But sometimes,you may be discouraged and may want to act in opposite of all these good things about yourself but lest I forget "YOU ARE NOT A VICTIM OF CREATION" and that is why you'll always live to fulfil that purpose.Thank God I never lost my memory telling you this.

FOR ME TO LIVE....

Tears flow through my eyes like a crying baby just as I bow down my head in remembrance.In fact,as at the time of writing this piece I cannot help control the salty water dropping from my eyes.My heart opens like a chapter of an Encyclopedia Britanica in memory of those unpleasant and rough roads that I've tread,the one that have left me speechless.Many are the days of man which are full of megabytes of sorrow,but in all it takes God to expend larger amount of joules to rescue him from them all.I have passed through many hurdles of life,those ones that nearly take me away from the planet-earth .Who am I,that God is mindful of? It's just by grace.The only man that will not praise God at this crucial period of his/her life is a man whose memory card is virus infected as well as a poor student of history.Just one out of many evil of my life was the one that makes me dumb and deaf to the world and i Was travelling so fast to the land beyond-an incident that throws many into confusion,in which myself cannot offer a better explanation of how it took place,the only thing was tha He sent me back and on opening my eyes I found myself as an emergency patient on the hospital bed-The year was 2007,oct 25.As I ponder on this,I cannot but wonder while wandering about in the garden of thought and remembrance about how God so love me.Anyway,I'm of the hope that,when God is not done with a man,He will not let go.
Although,evil days are not yet over but presently there is promising and glorious future ahead which must be fulfilled.I'm not living in doubt of my future or what tomorrow will tell eventhough,age is counting and am trusting God for a brighter days ahead for He said that "my latter will be greater.Many're the desires of the heart of a man but with time God'll meet all.
However,the topic of this piece is coined from bro.paul statement when he said "For me to live is christ....." and this same statement dropped into my heart with questions that;of what essence am I spared? Does God just take pleasure in rescuing me from untimely death? Is it to tell the story of my life alone? NO! I've since gained the understanding that,it's to live for HIM and for HIM alone.He preserved me for a purpose and if they're not fulfilled,I jeopardised it all.My increase in age must be a yardstick to measure my increase in christ because now I'm young and God is counting on me saying that "remember your creator in the days of your youth when evil days have not come"
weighing myself spiritually counts better than my increase.

WHY NOT BE YOURSELF?

Have you ever seen a lady changing her mode of speaking on answering a call? In fact,some of the claimed that they've not tasted Eba in their life meanwhile,it's their favourite breakfast,lunch and dinner far back at their village.Do I say village? Jungle I mean.Some behave just as if butter will not melt in their mouth,many of them walk as if earth-quake is about to happen on the same ground they are walking.Friends,an endldss list of such hypocrisy is all around.Am I being sentimental? No! It's applicable to boys also.
Let me say that,people have many but unpukka reasons for being a chamelion and in most cases,they thought of how to achieve their devilish acts or their burning desires by pretending to be who they're not.It's possible for a "guy" to lie to a lady that his dad owns chevron company all in the name of luring her and getting her into his box and who are we to blame if not the lady that has made herself a subaltern to deceit and fantasies.Of what essence are all these?
In most cases,many want to feel belong and will stretch themselves beyond the elastic limit all in the name of gaining popularity.For this sense of belonging,latest phone becomes the priority of everybody even those that have no means of getting cut corners to get one and begin to drown people into deception of how wealthy his/her family is.Gone were the days of BB mentality,the latest crave is first class Android phone.Many BB without BIS subscription!Don't be annoyed with me and if you think I say this cuz I do not have one,you've said it all cuz that's how you look at it.I don't envy.Why not be yourself! That you're using a frog-eye motorolla phone does not define your future because a day is coming when you will have all you need.
Observing all these attitudes keenly,it's nothing but a function of unnecessary comparison-not knowing that comparing yourself with somebody born with silver spoon in his/her our mouth is a route to your early grave.Comparison makes you inferior and if care is not taken,you'll always look for ways of being superior by all means.Comparison kills!
For the fact that,you're interested in a girl is not an avenue to proclaim a false identity of yourself,let her know everything as regard yourself,family and societal background and if she'll take you the way you're,all well and good and if otherwise,good.
To those of you that're always camourflaging,behaving like the son and daughter of mister president in school,doing what your parents are void of its knowledge,this is a warning to you.Many an elephant in school and a rat on getting back home.For how long will you continue in this self deception?
This may look childis, but on a serious note,always be yourself in any environment you found yourself just like biblical Daniel.being yourself speaks better of you than to be somebody else.

LADIES:WHAT SHOULD BE INSIDE NOW OUTSIDE

To anybody reading this and consider it as an act of unholiness,I want to agree with you because that's how you look into the matter.However,if we fail in our capacity to be straight forward in our sense of thought or approach to some matters,we would all roast in hell.And if we see and behave as if we don't,it's wiseness however,if we behave as if we don't see and bother not to write or talk,we would be the most celebrated fool here on earth.I'm sure you are gaining a clue or understanding of where I'm driving at and if you've not,I'll not like to dillydally on this matter for the sake of simplicity.
Whether to call this civilization or madness,I can't say but I would like to go with one.Human beings in actual sense are not always appreciative,their thinkings about their existence is always myopic and that's why we make life uncomfortable for ourselves.Don't stop here!
And what shall we say about this,that dresses manufactured to cover the nakedness as well as the sensitive part of the body is now being abused by the users of it.Alot of people dressed revealing all that must be inside to the whole world,in fact in most case,you would have mistaken them for a mad man before you know that they are normal human being but having the blood of madness injected into their body system.Ladies are the main actor in this sinful act which is highly repugnant and morally/religiously outright and this has sincerely contributed to the increase in the numbers of rape incidence in our society.The've forgotten that,pyscologically,a man is moved by what he sees and for as many that cannot control this sexual urge,they perpetrate this evil deed by force.It's not new today again seeing ladies exposing their breast and sensitive parts all in the name of fulfilling fashion yet,they will one day found themselves in a man's house.Of what value then are they? After they've shown what must be seen by a single eye to the whole world.I know you are doubting my xtian faith by talking in this way.Well,if I'm not,I'll not be harsh on words like this.
The discouraging part of this is that,no sense of remorsefulness is felt and that's why wearing of such dresses to place of worships are on increase on a daily basis.This kind of attitude has generated alot of sexual harrasement in our churches and various sectors.hmm
Gone are those days where life was treasured and values were welcomed and hold with high level of respect,where parents hide their faces in shame when their daughters were found to be non-virgin by their husbands during wedlock but all have been greatly distorted and equated with awkward and odd life styles.
Succinctly,our mode of dressing has been greatly distorted by this gross glorification of madness through media content.Our ladies now prefer to go naked on the street as against our culture,micro minis with handless top has this to show and dresses accentuating their buttocks.Of what essence are all these?
I've come to wonder if being moderate is tantamount to being a sinner because with all evidencies around me that's what it depicts.I've lived my life to appreciate a descent and moderate ladies than the Jezebels.The way you dress says something about your integrity if you don't know.I'll rather address you as a mad wo(man) than as a human being with his/her right senses cuz you'll be addressed d way you dressed.
On this note,it'll be wise to say that,the moral decadence in our society vis-á-vis dressing needs to be given keen attentn and as many of our ladies dramaticing this stupidity,they should have a rethink of their ways of life cuz they're sending a bad signal to the world around us and jeopardising the virture of d woman.I'll love to leave you with the word of bro.paul that says:

WHY THE DEVIL IS AFTER YOU!

I Write you this out of the deepest part of me with sorrow and eyes laden with tears because I don't want you to fall a victim of this age snares which is all around.The devil is seriously wasting destinies everyday and still looking for those he'll destroy.He(Devil) is not always concerned about a man that is going no where because he is already in his net but seriously mad at you because you're going somewhere and your future is bright.You're the main target! Well,this appears like a curse but it isn't,it's just an unarguable realities of life.
Therefore,for a brief understand about this.Do you know that,when Moses was born,pharaoh was seeking to terminate his life? Herod was all out to terminate Jesus' life as well when he was born.
When Joseph narrated his dream of greatness to his brothers,they quickly pick up satan's assignment to terminate his life.And that is why you must watch out for this one factor if you want to reach your goal and that's potential killer of your dreams.
However,apart from the fact that,satan is out to punture the balloon of your glory,you must know that there is a divine assurance and destiny insurance that covers your destiny and that's why the bible says that "When God be for "you",who can be against you! That's a great verse.But in most cases,you stand an equal chance of being the number one enemy of your destiny and that's why you must know that your destiny is in your hands.So,if I may ask,what're you doing to jeopardised the purpose of your existence because that's the only platform upon which the devil will use to complicate the matters of your life.When the devil came,he found greediness in the life of Judas Iscariot and fear in peter.He destroyed the former completely and the latter partially.This should tell you that you must guide your God-given purpose jealously.It pains me to heart on several occasions,seeing ladies of today sacrificing their purpose/future at the alter of a man's bossom and a man picking up the devil's assignment in defiling young ladies,not knowing that,these are plagues for devil's manifestation.Today's juvenile deliquencies hunted and drastically send people to their early grave without fulfilling purpose.Don't forget that,anytime you coincide to anythought that the devil is nursing in your mind,you've moved a step away from the fulfilment of your purpose.
Beseech you friend to do a thorough search of what may serve as an hindrance/obstacle to the realization of your dream and guide it meticulously from the devil who roams about to devour.Bearing in mind that you're not a victim of creation and you must fulfil.
Be prayerful,resist the devil and he shall flee.
And you'll live to fulfil the purpose of your existence IJN.

THE PLANE CRASH AND THE PAIN

The Fragility Of Our Nation.
It was a dark dismal and a depressing scenario when the news of the plane crash at Lagos hit the social media,people trying to confirm whether the incident is true or not,not until a friend posted the picture of the incident and was later reported that,only few survived.What a tragedy!
The fear of flying in the air is now taking another dimension in this nation just as our aviation sector is suffering from insecurity.I could remember that,some months ago,a plane crash occured in this same Lagos where many lifes were claimed including those that are residential in the place.
The pain of all these incidents may be short for a moment but will always linger in the memory of our great nation.Those that lost their beloved ones are those that must be sympathized with because the bible says we should mourn with those mourning.
Better still,there is a need to investigate why this has become what will be forming part of our news.In the face of insecurities,we still suffer lack of technological know-how and technocrats that will help sustain and guide the lifes of people flying in the air.
I'm sincerely shocked to my bone marrow about these because we are also human having same blood and water running through our body systems eventhough some judge the incident politically but truly,we ought not to be sentimental in our approach to every matters/evils that took our country by surprise.If Agagu is a politician and see the incident as nemesis what about those that are not? And who among us can confidently say that he'll be living in the couple of mimutes?
It's my sincere prayer that God will save our land from all these unfortunate happenings and grant the affected families the fortitude to bear the loss.

Immediately I finished a sunday school class,a sister came to me and ask me few question.Out of those one asked was:Is it Good for Christians to listen to worldly Hip Hop musics? I pursed a little bit to ask her few but reasonable questions which goes thus:Assuming you preached to me to accept christ and after that I made up my mind to follow Him but in a short while I beckoned on you to give me your phone to send some xtians transforming songs that will stabilize my faith but to my utmost regret,I found worldly Hip Hop Musics which is on my phone as well.How would you feel? She said not fine.
I used the above question cuz I had a likewise experience despite being born again and that's why I've a full knowledge of what am about to discuss.
Sincerely, it has always been a thug of war explaining this integral aspect of christianity to people.Explaining the concept of the type of song worthy of christians to listen to has been termed as being too spiritual.Many claimed that,listening to it is just to be social and catch fun but for a better understanding,I'll like us go from here and search the scripture so that we will not live in the darkness of this simple but controversial issue.
This man called David was of the knowledge of what God deserves.When he's busy,he makes God to feel the aroma of his praises and this may be one of those vital reasons while God has made him a special candidate in his school of music.He wrote many of the chapters of the book of psalm you and I read today.However,if David'd approached God with meaningless and worldly musics,do you think we will have his "psalms" recorded? We have an endless list of them in the bible.This same song was the device God used to delivered the Isrealites instead of fighting,He told them to be singing.Somehow ridiculous but that's the power of music I'm talking about.
There're xian musics you listen to and you cannot but shed tears because it's touching,some give hope and thanks to God.How can you then compare this with a song that's directly connected to God and that adds no unit(s) to your spiritual growth or moral standing.It's in our days that somebody will sing aloud that "he is mad" or "he's drunk with madness" and this becomes the song in the mouth of believers.what example are we showing the world? No wonder the bible says "my name is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you"
This same sense of ungodly habit is gradually entering the church of God when you'll find it difficult to distinguish a worship place from a party.Where sisters and brothers became drunk with devil's spirit filled songs matching it with a dancing styles they thought is taking its course as the latest in town.A.w Tozer once asked "Isn't there a difference between worship and entertainment? He then conclude that ".....and men who can't lead a church to worship must provide the entertainment"
May be we take God for a fool who will accept anything from us.Have you forgotten cain and Abel? Even the angels are singing HOLY,HOLY,HOLY unto him every seconds.why not you?
Brethren,you get to master the choice of your songs and desires cuz through a wrong choice many have landed dmslves into the hell fire.

I LOST MY PEN!

Isaac is not serious.Why must he tell us that he lost his pen? He must be a careless and an unserious type.I'm sure that's how you sound.I appreciate your castigations.But don't stop here because there is a scenario I want to unveil which is beyond the simplicity and nonsensity of this topic.Personally,my pen is my power because I write with my brain and speak with it.So,I should be pained to my bone marrow 'if' I lost it.Now,how does this relates to you as a person.Permit me to say that to every human is a pen given i.e power given to,your own may not necessarily be a "pen" but something worthwhile and peradventure you might have lost it unknowingly.If mine got lost through carelessness,your own may be through ignorance.

There're differdnt ways by which we lost the pen given to us by God.Let me speak plainly now.
The word 'PEN' here is translated as an acronyms-"POWER ENABLEMENT"
There're certain amounts of current deposited in you to produce light.There're certain amounts of power deposited in you to overcome the work so as to be done.There is a force in you to activate your potential energy into a kinetic energy.However,as good as all these scientific paramaters are in you,they lay dormant until you go into action.A plant will never grow until a suitable environmental conditions are met.And that's why you must make "enable" your power.God has deposited in you a power to change your world,society,friends,the wise and the barbarians but there is a need to discover and guide it.In most people,there problem is that,they've lost their "power enablememt",PEN due to certain reasons or factors.How I lost mine may not be the same with yours and the way to get it back may be quiet different.One of those set of people that lost his power enablement,PEN is "samson" and you know how he lost it.Lustful desires for woman and disobedience.He would have live a long life as a warrior and not a victim of his power,if he had this knowledge of guiding the power of God in his life.He lost it and had a regret of is life.Your PEN is the only route to your greatness in life and that's why you must not allow any external factor to tamper with that power you are carrying instead,always make it work by connecting with the source of your power i.e God.Through this,you can effectively write with your PEN and put smile on the face of this generation.Don't be careless,lustful and ignorant of loosing your PEN.

A QUICK KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CAIN'S OFFERING

Just as I stumbled on my bible few minutes ago,I gained an understanding of why Cain had a problem with God as regard his sacrifice and this throws a radiant of light to me contrary to our erroneous believe and our childhood assumption about Cain's offering.This little understanding is what am moved to share with you. But these questions are germane to the study and that has been our long aged knowledge about Cain.Was it because the sacrifice is not huge? Or God prefer animal to the fruit Cain brought to Him? No! As I read,I've the understanding that,God is not mad at the sacrifice but the giver.The state of heart of Cain was not in harmony/resonance with what he presented.And if something is wrong with the giver,as good as the gift may be,it'll not be accepted.

LESSON DEDUCTED.
This implies that before you ever give to God,do a thorough work on yourself and ensure you are presentable to Him.If you're not born again or you're born again but living in secret sins,your person will be rejected and it'll greatly affect your giving to God.
God cannot stand a sinner when it comes to giving,whereas He is well pleased to take the request of His children who're living righteously.
No wonder proverb 15:8 says that "The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD:but the prayer of the upright is His delight"
In giving to God,the rule should be "you first before your gift" If you're not holy inwardly,neither is your gift.If you're not born again,drop whatever you want to give to God in one corner and deal with the matters of your heart.
Note that:"self-examination must precede every act of giving-offering,tithe,seed sowing et cetera"
Romans 12 vs 1 ".......that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,holy,acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service"

I'm of a strong believe that the only thing worthy of any government to offer the youths of her nation is nothing but a standard education built on a solid foundation which will in turn make them productive and in the wise makes the nation great.However,here in Nigeria is as if our leaders don't see anything good in creating a society of high intellects among the youths.Not that they're without the knowledge of what our education should be,but we must not be a rocket scientist before we know that they're beclouded by their own personal selfish ambition and will not mind sacrificing the future of the nation on the altar of today's over-zealousness for political pursuits.The effects of this lingering strike by the university workers and the seasonal break in academic work by polytechnic lecturers cannot be over-emphasized just as the varsity students have been sitting down at home for more than 100 days now and many of them have been involving themselves in illegal practices.
Female students have turned prostitute on our high ways,Male students indulging in scandalous and nefarious activities.And I asked,what do you expect? For a nation that cannot provide a platform for the greatness of her students must always be ready to see the devil face to face and reap the fruits of her lackadaisical attitude towards education.Instead of admitting their failure,they shift blame and judge every matter politically and this shows the attitude of a failed government-blaming others all in the name of political differences,believing that the opposition parties are the one fuelling the actions of the body thereby increasing the life span of the strike.Worst still,in their santuary of reasoning,in an attempt to halt the strike they seek the intervention of the past leaders of which former president Olusegun Obasanjo is included-who in himself cannot claim to be a saint when it comes to embarking on industrial actions by university workers during his administration.The problem of our leaders is crystal clear,always beating about the bush,they know the way out of this strike but'll not profer the solution to it because they love holding the truth in unrighteousness.Knowing fully well that the demand of ASUU remains the same and assume a constant value.Why dilly dallying seeking for mediators then? All of these would not help out if we must be realistic in our sense of thoughts.Unless they're ready to face the truth of the matter,we'll only wander in the wilderness of foolishness.
On this note,it'll be wise to say that the perilious time which our education sector is wallowing in does not need any stroke of magic to squirm out of it,all that's needed is holding the truth in righteousness.Since they do not declared from the onset that they cannot make bricks without straw when signing the agreement,then they must stand to accept how they 've failed in their responsibilities and stop pointing accusing fingers which will and cannot help.
For knowing the truth,they will be set free.
