I AM SHARPENING MY PEN

 It is true,I am not a literature student not to talk of being the Wole Soyinka of our time,I have not written articles published on Nigeria newspapers,am far from being a journalist.Yet,I know I will jive in the oceans of metaphor.Sometimes ago,I sharpen my brain to sharpen my mouth and in due time it gains me the attention of commissioners,Honourables and Governor representative but now I am done with my mouth.My mouth must sharpen my pen.
I am not proud of my past achievements but am seeing reasons to re-sharpen my pen.The evil trees growing and gaining ground in our forests must see the dangerous part of my sharpened pen.Their time is up,they oppress the good trees,not allowing them to spread forth their roots,covering their good fruits and showing up their own bad fruits.I am sharpening my pen!
I am not afraid of the thorns neither am I afraid of the wild animals that makes these evil trees their place of abode.The roaring of the king of the forest cannot stop me,the trumpter in the forest is not my fear.The good trees must have their course.I am taking the bull by the horn.I am sharpening my pen!
In case you don't understand this parable,the evil,immoral behaviour must see themselves inked down until the whole enviroment is saturated with good and Godly deeds.
Our politics must experience revolution.Our sharpened pen must show the true colour of who they are.Prepare for another civil war without ammunitions.It is a war of pen.
My own pen is ready.sharpen your own and let's go to the forests where evil people are canvassing good people.

THE SAME STANDARD

The world is revolving on its axis,the sun rises and it sets,the day breaks,the night no more.Everyday presents us with new ideas and innovations.The world system is changing,new inventions on a daily basis,the success of yesterday is the failure of today.Scientific knowledge is making a great impact and everybody strifes to use the latest.
Now,all of these are inevitable because we are in the 21st century.Anybody not rolling/moving in the direction of all these changes is not on a planet-earth,may be planet-pluto.Nobody wish to be left behind because new things are admirable.
However,as good as all these appear,we must not forget the most important thing as we're going down the lane.All may be changing,but the word of God changes not.God Himself never change his standard because of the changing world.I've read my lecture notes times without number and not better than the previous time I've been reading them,but as much as I read the same scripture,I get a new interpretation by the help of the Holy spirit.The same word with different meaning.Each verse of the scripture illuminates our minds to see new revelation.
The devil is full of dissimulation to make us believe that the beauty of the world and all in it is the best we can have.No wonder,he tempted Jesus with technologically built materials that're glamorous and good to behold which will ultimately tends to nought.
Of all the greatest deceit is the believe that God system changes in the direction of the world and so His judgement will be in resonance to the current or daily developments in our age.What a lie? And many out of ignorance hold firmly to this,thinking that God is Bill Gate.The God I know changes not and His modus operandi changes not.
The God of yesterday,today and days to come.He's not moved/freaked! Let everybody turns an aeroplane as a human being flying in the sky,He remains unconcerned! Be not deceived,God cannot be mocked.
Brethren,to drive home this piece,the bible says that 'the foundation of God standeth sure.....' God expects us to take our stand even in the face of the changing world.If a christian would follow the idea of 'as the world changes,we ought to change in such a direction' HEY! That may be too precarious and heavy to bear.
God is looking for people like Daniel,the 3 Hebrew guys,Joseph,Jesus et al that never compromised their faith in the face of the changing world.
Decide today to stand for God.
The equation of God's standard is constant (k)!

THE ANSWER IS IN 'THY MOUTH

There was a little boy who was looking for some candy eggs at Easter time.His mother had hidden them,and promised him that the candy eggs were in the room,but he must find them.
'Well,he started looking-first under the chair in the corner,then under the couch,then behind the table,under the rug and behind the seat cushions.His mother prompted him,Timmy,you're getting near,you're getting very near,Oops! No,you're far away,' etc.Well,Timmy kept looking for a long time,periodically getting close and then further away,but he just couldn't find those Easter eggs.
Finally,he stopped and indignantly put his hands on his lips and looked up at his mother in dissapointment.She exclaimed,'Timmy,you're real close,you're real close! Surprised,he looked down,only to see that his hands were near his slightly agape coat pockets.He thrust his hands into his pockets,and there were the candy eggs-right in his pocket'
This illustrates the way many of us pray.We are trying to find God and the answer to our need by 'ascending up to heaven' in our searching or 'descending into the deep' in our seeking.
We search,we pray,we fast,we seek(all of which are scriptural);but what saith the scripture? The things you're looking all over for ".....is nigh thee,even in thy mouths,and in your heart, that is the word of FAITH we preach to you (Romans 10:8)
Brethren,this is the season to speak to the atmosphere because you shall have what you decree,because you believe and it belongs to you'
Speak the word of faith into the atmosphere!
Declaring ASAP!
It's yours!
You shall have it!
Speak it over your life,finances,academics,relationship,family,health....
And you shall have what you decree because it belongs to you Ijn

WHY JESUS NEVER ANSWERED HEROD

Herod wanted proof-some unusual happening in nature to confirm Jesus' claims as messaiah.Meanwhile,Christ had already proved every claim of His and had fulfilled every prophecy of what messaiah was to do,so He ignored the wish of the king.Herod had over three years to make proper investigation and would have found many signs if he had in any way been honest and sincere in his seeking for truth.Christ,knowing the hypocrisy and unconcern of Herod,did not give him any satisfaction by even answering his questions....Luke 23:9

WHY MARRIAGES COLLAPSE

I have come to ask why marriages collapse or shipwreck? Why would a wedlock turns a padlock? How come that what should be a paradise on earth turns to an hell on earth? As light as these questions are,it's a very sensitive one that's heart disturbing most especially seeing christian homes on fire,boiling and tearing apart.When the centre could not hold again in a family,things must certainly fall apart.Many may jump into conclusion that,it's the devil at work or the handiwork of some 'Iyas in the family house' as a result of this the couple moves from one mountain to another,descend to the deepest part of the earth seeking spiritual solution to the problems rocking their marital home.
But the sincere question we ought to ask is whether the devil is the main actor in the scene or not?
As I browsed through the word of God,my eyes of understanding was opened to gain a vivid knowledge of how we may be mistaken the devil for this failure in the family.So,what is the outcome of this knowledge? Firstly,I thank God that my eyes of understanding has been enlightened {Eph 1:18} through his word because it's a living word that proffer solutions to controversial and confusing aspect of life.All thanks to Him.
Not to dilly dally,let's therefore look at a scripture passage and gain some altitude.
John 2:1,2 says that '..there was a marriage at cana of Galilee...' And Jesus was called(invited),and his disciples to the marriage'
Jesus was at the marriage venue not because he was hungry and want to 'chop' the remnant,neither was He there to do 'sabojo' not at all.He was not wandering about at the reception ground but He was invited,meaning that He was given an invitation letter.That shows that Jesus was matured in attending ceremonies,if he was not invited,he'll not go.
Note that,the marriage was running legato,everybody was happy with the couple because all is available,drinks,foods et al were all smilling on the table not until verse 3 when scarcity set in.It says 'And when they wanted wine..' That shows that at this stage everywhere is in commotion because they're salivating already.Seeing this,the mother of Jesus turned to Jesus for help..
Let's stop here to give a deeper explanation to this.
You'll discover that,at a start everything was going well with the couple and people were praising and dancing with them,but all of a sudden they became subjected to disgrace,ridicule and scarcity and they must be thinking of the way out of the impasse.
Before this time,the audience must have been giving them signals that things don dry oo.At this stage,they are between the red sea and don't know how to go about it.Thanks to the mother of Jesus who quickly discovered that Jesus was on ground.
However,provided Jesus was not invited,it's undeniable that the collapse of the marriage would be the talk of the town and a marriage that's going well will just end or shipwreck in a twinkle of an eyes.  
Having this understanding,my eyes were opened to see that many christian homes are on fire because Jesus was not invited.They thought that all will be smooth or may be their union will be challenges free and so withdraw the invitation letter from Jesus.Note that,Jesus was not on the high table but he was invited,we've rich and big men/women on the high table but as rich as they were,they couldn't rescued the couple,that should tell you that even the presence of important personals at your marriage would not determine the real success of your marriage.Let president Jonathan/Obama attend your marriage,if Jesus is not invited,your wedlock will ultimately be padlocked.At the intervention of Jesus in vs 7 and 8 produces 162 gallons of entirely different wine for people.Meaning that,the presence of Jesus in your marriage will help restore your joy in multiple in the face of challenges and people would be perplexed at the restoration of your marriage,the same way people tasted a new wine.Jesus delivered their marriage from collapse because He was invited.
To this end,would you invite Jesus to your marriage?

THE THIEF IN YOUR HOUSE

I want to use this prime time to tell you the truth about the thief in your house that you do not know.You wonder if that's by any means possible.You may be thinking that the thief is the devil,but devil is far from it! Your erroneous believe is that this scallwag is afar off but not far at all,he's sleeping with you always.Anytime you see the thief afar off,you cast stones on him but fail to kill the one on your bed.
It looks as if am becoming too proverbial in my approach on this matter so,let me drop this and speak in Greek for a better understanding.
The only thief that is romantic to you and never know is 'corruption'. You doubt it? I'm not a politician now so,how can I be corrupt,lailai.I'm sure that is your point of argument.Weldone!
However,no matter how solid your point of argument is,this one I want to tell you is an unarguable reality of life.
This is nigeria,anybody can nail those at the apex of the affair,you can libel,slander,disect and analyse how manipulative our leaders are.You can never be in lack of the suitable adjectives to qualify this repugnant attitude that's growing at a geometric rate on a daily basis in our country and am pretty sure you will not mind killing them if you get a gun and a chance to.Why won't you do that,you're on strike,Stella Oduah bought two bullet proof cars.It worths more than killing.But I no dey there o..Don't kill o.
All well said,but why removing the mote in your brother's eyes when there is a beam in yours? Everybody want a better Nigeria and expect the people over there to change while they're not changing situations at the base.You speak more of the thieves we're breeding in Nigeria without addressing the ones sleeping and romancing with you.Where's the change then? Do you remember the last time you impersonated in an exam? Ah brother! Can you recall the last time you jumb the queue in the bank? Don't you remember the last examination you took,how you indulged yourself in malpractices? What of the refuse(s) you dropped inside the gutter? What of littering of the street? Can you still recall how you pay a police man because your documents were not up to date? You impregnated a lady and rejected the pregnancy.That one no be corruption nah.You dress indescently.That one nah life bah? Evil practices are inexhaustible!
We can mention as much as possible.The truth is just that,this cry for a sterile society can only be achieved by you killing the growing thief beneath you before he becomes uncontrollable because as at the time you'll get to a bigger position,you'll be robbing everybody the same way our ogas are doing.
Don't talk of those ones the media report but be faithful about the thief on your bed.
Let all poison those thieves before they grow up beyond the control.

HOLINESS IN RELATIONSHIP

I heard something like 'virginity is a lack of opportunity' wao! What a speculation? But how do you expect those that're maintaining their virginity to feel? Happy or in melancholy? It's as a result of this I put my ink on paper to bring the issue under the beam of light for more illusion and understanding as far as the subject matter is concerned.Not because am in any relationship,in fact am not thinking of any now.May be.....years to this time.Don't just ask me why.That aside,if this issue would not be discussed considering the word of God many may continue to delude themselves with saying that cannot hold water.
Whether virginity is a lack of opportunity or not would be a product of several justification after certain facts have been established here.
Let's therefore look at a scripture passage and gain some altitude.So,I jump into the book of Luke 4:27 which says 'To a girl never having being married{and} a virgin in engaged to be married to a man...' That should tell you that I want to use Mary has as a yardstick to discuss this controversial issue.It's obvious that,sister Mary is into a serious relationship with bro.Joseph but through out the period of their relationship,it's not recorded that they defiled their own body.Before entering into the relationship,Mary was a virgin and after entering into it,she remained the same.I'm pretty sure that there'd be an occasion whereby they'll both have an opportunity to do something funny but they allowed not the flesh manifestation.The purpose of their relationship is known to both.
Having this understanding,I come to the point of knowing that relationship is not an avenue to fulfil sexual urge/thirst by either of the two party neither is it an opportunity to delve into unholy practices.
However,the present age of ours have given an evolutionary change to what relationship should be.It's now generally seen as a medium to satisfy the lustful desire of their heart.Many deceive themselves by saying 'they want to have a taste of themselves before the marriage to test each other potency' what a wrong thought?
Many relationship is to manipulate the other party,unnecessary demands are made all in the name of relationship.
If all these define unholiness in relationship,what should a godly relationship be?
The book of Romans 12:9 explain this,it says 'Let love be without dissimulation,abhor that which is evil,cleave to that which is good' Let's deal with each separately.

WITHOUT DISSIMULATION.
This shows that any godly relationship must not be built on deception either by the male or the female folks.A man should not be keeping ten ladies and telling you that 'you're the only one he has'This is not holiness.If you'll go with a lady,just do that and not play on them like a game,saying if this one does not work the other will.That's a plain deception.You don't have to lie about your family background to gain her approval,tell her all about yourself without hiding anything even,your past.cleave to one and build a rigid relationship that's void of feigning.

ABHOR EVIL
The word abhor means: to hate or regard with extreme repugnance or aversion,detest utterly,loathe,abominate.A godly relationship must not give room for evil practices of any degree.Sexual satisfaction must be loathed to have a serene relationship.

CLEAVE TO GOOD
I'll like to emphasize that the essence of any relationship is to grow in all facets of life and most importantly ,spiritually.If there is a relationship that is not glued to good conduct,it's not yet a relationship.Then,how can you cleave to that which is good? Spiritual activities,studying of the scripture together,projecting into the future,praying together,admonishing one another et al
Through this,a goldly home would come true.
If your relationship lack all these,try get it right.Not to late.
To bring this piece to a close,Mary fulfil purpose by keeping herself holy before God and she was rewarded and so also is the reward of being holy in relationship we keep.why not a disflowered vessel? Well,God is looking for a fora womb to fulfil His purpose and she was found.To clear argument here,if you've been disflowered,God's still interested in you and He can make you relevant.
Brethren,let's go with bro.Paul's word in Rom 12:1 'I beseech you therfore,brethren..to present your bodies a living sacrifice,holy,acceptale unto God...'
The essence of your relationship is to grow.Are you growing?
